Dear Norah,

    Saudi Arabia is located near the Arabian Peninsula.  It’s surrounded by Iraq and Iran. It’s in eastern Africa.  The red sea is in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has no roads.  There is a big desert called the Rubakhali desert.

    The people are very poor. They sleep in tents. There are a few people that are rich.  In Saudi Arabia many people work in the oil factories. They also build factory buildings. Some people make pottery.

    When they are not working, they have camel races and horse races. Sometimes the kids have running races.  They write in Korean. They don’t sing a lot. They do use drums a lot. They dress different and they talk different. They keep goats for goat cheese.  See you soon. Have fun in Hejaz. I like the food here.

Dear Devon,                                                                                               

    Hi Devon it is so beautiful here in Saudi Arabia!  Saudi Arabia is located in the Easters part of Africa.  17 little countries surround Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia has the most harsh and sandy Desert called the RUB-AL-KHALI! Saudi Arabia is also right next to the red sea and I think you will find this interesting! It used to have no roads but today it has them.

     Saudi Arabia population is more than 20 million people. Isn’t that a lot? In Saudi Arabia women have to ware Abaya on their heads in public.  An Abaya is a lot like a veil. The people in Saudi Arabia are mostly poor.

     In Saudi Arabia a lot of people work in oil factories. They mostly make crude oil. Some people make pots and that is called pottery! A few people build factories.  Most people in Saudi Arabia play the drums. Arabian people write in Korean and they don’t sing a lot.

     In Saudi Arabia they have a lot of races. They mostly have camel races! But a lot of times horse races. Some times they have people races.

People in Saudi Arabia dress a lot different than we do and they mostly keep Goats for Goat cheese. Most Arabian people eat Fruit. A lot eat meat.  Wasn’t that some cool stuff? Well I will talk to you latter bye!
