Dear Jessica,
I am in Egypt having a great time. I visited a pyramid and saw a mummy they were built so the pharohs coud be buried in them.
I learned the banjo was invented in Egypt.Jazz and hip hop music come from africian rhythms. The location is east of the Rrd Sea and the Mediterranean sea is to the north.It is located in Africa. City people dress like Europeans and us. Soccer is a favorite sport in Egypt.Many people enjoy handball,squash and tennis too. One half of the adults in Egypt can’t read or write.All schools are free decause the government controls them. I hope that you learned a lot

Dear Brandon,
I have been studying Egypt in Language Arts with our student teacher. I have been learning about art and music so have you. The pyramids are big buildings that they put the dead pharaohs in. I also learned the banjos were made in Egypt.
Most of the Egyptians live near the Nile River and live in cities. Others live in villages in the desert or mountains. Some people wander in the desert with their animals and they are called Bedouins. Most Egyptians belong to the Muslin religion. If they are very religious they pray five times a day.
Egypt is located in North Africa. The Mediterranean Sea is to the north and the Red Sea is to the east of Egypt. I hope you had fun learning about Egypt in my letter. Maybe you will visit some time.
